Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to know or my first class?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your first class. This is so you’ll have time to familiarise yourself with the studio. Meet your Teacher and have a quick run down on the Reformer Bed you will use during class. If you’re late to your first class you might not be able to train. No mobile phones during classes (please be respectful to others).
How many times can I use the INTRO Offer?
The Introductory offer of 5 Sessions for $50 to use within 7 days is only available to new clients of Align Pilates (first timers) and is activated from the date of your first booking. You can only use the Introductory offer once per person and this cannot be used in conjunction with any other opening offer. You have a 7 day period to use your 5 sessions and any unused sessions will expire.
If I am running late can I still join the class?
All of our classes start on time and finish on time. If the class is fully booked and someone showed up waiting to get in, you spot may be forfeited if you are not to class on time. Alternatively if you are more than 5 minutes late to your class then you may not be able to join, and your Teacher may turn you away from the class.
I can't make my class?
We have a strict 10 hour cancellation policy for group classes. If you can’t make your class, it is your responsibility to cancel or let us know at least 9 hours before the start time of your scheduled class or you will be charged $10 to your account. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way, but we need to be strict and fair to all clients.
I have never done Pilates Reformer before, should I do a group class or private session?
That depends on the individual. Ninety nine percent of our new clients do just fine attending a Beginner class. Our Teachers can modify exercises to suit differing abilities. Although still quite intense, classes are broken down using simple exercises so all individuals get the most out of their workout. If you have chronic back pain, are coming back from an injury or are pregnant, a one-on-one session would be best to assess your situation.
