Align Pilates Queenstown NZ - Reformer Reform Form Clutch Get In Shape After Break

Here are a few tips for getting into shape after a break:

  1. Start slowly: If you have been inactive for a while, it is important to ease back into exercise gradually to avoid injury and burnout. Begin with low-intensity activities and gradually increase the intensity and duration of your workouts as your fitness improves.

  2. Find activities you enjoy: Choose activities that you enjoy and that you are more likely to stick with in the long term. This can help make exercise more enjoyable and help you stay motivated.

  3. Set realistic goals: Set achievable goals for yourself and focus on making progress over time, rather than trying to do too much too soon.

  4. Get support: Consider enlisting the help of a professional, joining a group Reformer classes, or working out with a friend to help you stay motivated and accountable.

  5. Stay consistent: To see progress, it is important to be consistent with your workouts. Try to make exercise a regular part of your routine and aim to get at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity activity each week.

  6. Stay hydrated and well-nourished: Proper hydration and nutrition are important for optimal physical performance and recovery. Make sure to drink plenty of water and fuel your body with a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, and protein.

Remember to listen to your body and take breaks when you need them. It is better to start slowly and gradually increase your activity level than to try to do too much too soon and risk injury or burnout.
